1. Have you purchased your new service plan?
Visit freedompop.com/plans and select the talk, text, and data plan that works for you and your budget. Choosing the best wireless plan can be a daunting task, but with some careful consideration, you can find a plan that meets your needs.
Firstly, evaluate your usage habits. Do you need unlimited data or can you get by with a smaller amount? How many lines do you need? Visit freedompop.com/plans or contact a FreedomPop support representative for help.
2. Visit freedompop.com/activate to set up your new line of service
Once you've decided on a service plan, made your purchase, and received your starter kit in the mail, you're ready to activate it. Visit freedompop.com/activate and enter the SIM card ICCID number that is printed on the back of your starter kit. Remember, we're always here to help! Call or email us if you are having trouble finding your SIM card number.
Our system will automatically detect your pre-paid service plan from your SIM card number.
3. Do you need a new phone number or do you want to bring over an existing number?
During the activation process at freedompop.com/activate, you'll be given the option to bring a phone number over from another wireless carrier or get a new phone number at no charge. If you plan to bring over a phone number, please make sure you have two important peices of information before you start the activation process. You'll need to get this information from your previous wireless carrier.
Account Number
Make sure to request the account number that will help you transfer your phone number. Some carriers have an account number that is related to your service plan, and an account number related to billing and payments. Ask specifically for the number transfer account number.
PIN Number
Make sure to request the PIN number that will help you transfer your phone number. Some carriers have a PIN number for number transfers and a PIN number for login verification and security. Ask specifically for the PIN number to transfer your account number.
