If you're using the Data Only SIM with your hotspot
The Infomark Photon LTE is a GSM unlocked hotspot, which means it can be used with a SIM card. Insert your FreedomPop SIM card.
1. Turn the device off.
2. Remove the battery cover.
3. Remove the battery.
4. Insert the SIM Card into the slot, with the gold plated side facing down. When fully inserted, you'll hear a click.
5. Reinsert the battery.
7. Replace the battery cover
8. Turn on the device.
Start by turning the hotspot device on. Then, once the home screen lights up, hold the power button until the device begins to reset. You may have to hold the power button for 8 seconds or more. Wait until the reset completes, and then move on to the next step.
On your laptop or desktop, click on the list of available WiFi networks. Locate the hotspot's network (it will typically be named “Infomark Photon LTE-” and some odd set of numbers), and click on it. You will then be asked for the WiFi network's password.
When you first get your hotspot, the default password is "freedompop". We recommend that you change the password immediately after setup, for better security.
Then try to connect to the network again. Once the device has been reset, the default password "freedompop" should work without a problem. You can now use your device to receive an internet connection, however we recommend that you move on to the next step and change your WiFi password.
