What is the FreedomPop Diagnostic Application?
FreedomPop’s Diagnostic app provides a unifying user interface that simplifies and quickens the process of gathering information and testing the functionality of a FreedomPop Device. It is available only on FreedomPop branded Android phones.
It’s designed to be a companion when resolving any issues with our tech support during call or via email. It's also a quick destination to easily find device information, speaker/microphone testing, and device actions such as performing a soft rest, or complete factory wipe.
Application Features:
• Status reporting
• Access to unique phone identification information
• Check current connection status and type
• Test for the audio output and input with clarity readings
How to download the application
To download the application on your phone, complete the following steps:
Step 1: Open up the Google Play store on your phone.
Step 2: Use the search bar at the top of the screen to search for the words "FreedomPop Diagnostic"
Step 3: Tap INSTALL once you have found the application. Then tap on Accept to begin the installation.
How to use the application
You can use the Diagnostic Application to troubleshoot calling and texting problems, you can use it to test the functionality of your phone (do the speakers work? Is WiFi working properly? etc.), and you can use the app to complete different actions on your phone (updating other FreedomPop applications, check voicemails, etc.)
Depending on what you want to do, you will need to click the navigation panels in the application labeled Home, Test, Actions, Facts.
Home: Troubleshoot your phone selecting the problem you are having from the list, and completing the steps that follow.
Test: Test the functionality of your phone's speakers, microphone, touchscreen display, battery, and network strength.
Actions: Get to your phones Settings folder, view the accounts you have signed into on your phone, visit the Play Store and manage your FreedomPop Messaging and FreedomPop Voicemail applications, all without having to navigate to the different locations on your phone.
Facts: See your phone's Product Information, Operating System version, MEID number and more.
