VoLTE stands for Voice over LTE. VoLTE allows you to make and receive calls using your LTE data, with your existing FreedomPop phone number.
If you've got a VoLTE capable phone, you may be able to use VoLTE with your FreedomPop service. Here are answers to some frequently asked questions about VoLTE:
Does VoLTE use my FreedomPop voice minutes and/or LTE data?
VoLTE will deduct your minutes at the same rate as a regular call, but will not deduct from your LTE data balance.
How do I know if my phone is compatible to use VoLTE on FreedomPop?
If your phone is capable of VoLTE calling, it will have the setting on it.
For Androids, this setting can typically be found in your Mobile Networks settings.
For iPhones, you will see the option in Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data Options.
For the GSM network, it is can be used with all VoLTE capable phones.
How do I set up VoLTE on my FreedomPop account?
If you are using the GSM network, no setup is required!

Once my account is updated how do I use VoLTE?
All you have to do is enable it on your phone and set your preferences. Once enabled, whenever you have access to your LTE network, your phone can switch to VoLTE depending on your preferences.
Is WiFi calling different from VoLTE?
WiFi calling allows you to make and receive calls, and text messages, using a WiFi network, with your existing FreedomPop phone number. If you've got a phone, that has WiFi calling capabilities, then you may be able to take advantage of WiFi calling. Learn more about WiFi calling here.
