Upgrading to premium voice while having a legacy plan

Received new SIM cards to upgrade to premium voice. We both currently have legacy plans 12 months for $50 plus tax will we be able to keep the same plans when we upgrade service? When does the upgrade to premium need to be done by? Can we keep the same plan? If we do not upgrade what happens to our services. We have 2 lines one of our renewal dates is on June 2021 and the other October 2021
