Converting To Essential Plan

Today, May 1st, I was expecting to have my FP plan converted to the Essential Plan. Do I need to uninstall and re-install my app for this to take place? The app that I've used says I have 4 days remaining in my current plan. Should I be doing something to make the Essential Plan "kick in"?
