I was trying to activate a prepaid 12-month 1GB prepaid SIM card that I bought from BestBuy. I went to freedompop.com/activate, typed in my SIM ICCID and my email address. I received an error message: Please enter a valid MAC ID/MEID/ESN. If you are bringing a non-FreedomPop device, click here.
I followed the link and it took me to Red Pocket. From redpocket.com/activate, I typed in my SIM ICCID and my phone IMEI, it showed both my SIM ICCID and my phone IMEI as valid, listed my plan as 'CDMAS Device or SIM without a plan', and said 'Activation Plan Required':
This SIM card does not have a pre-assigned plan. Do you have an activation PIN# ?
Click Here To Purchase A Plan. Then it showed my 3 different plans $20-$40 per month to purchase.
It looks like my SIM card was activated but my prepaid 12-month 1GB plan was removed.
I chatted with Red Pocket support and I was told that I need to contact FreedomPop in order to add my prepaid plan back as Red Pocket does not have a way to add back my prepaid plan.
Can you please help?
