I also have an issue with an invalid SIM Card.  I am attempting to add the card to a Q72 smart watch.  It says to install a valid SIM Card.  I have also attempted to put it into my LG Aristo 2, but that also says that it is an invalid SIM Card.  Any help you can provide would be much appreciated.  Thank you.

    Hi Samwel,

Seems kind of odd.  Usually "Invalid SIM" happens when the GSM LTE SIM is inserted into a CDMA Sprint phone. Do you have the model number handy for your LG phone ?  I can look it up and see which network it was made to use.

    Hello Kyle Buff!

    Thank you for contacting FreedomPop!

We apologize for the delay in getting back to you, we'll be glad to take a closer look into this for you.

You'll need to verify the devices you're using are compatible with our service, be advised, our SIM cards are compatible with GSM unlocked devices running on Android 4.3 or + / iOS 8.2 or higher. Check out this support article for more information.

FreedomPop is a VoIP service. VoIP stands for Voice Over Internet Protocol. Essentially, it means data, or the internet is used for calling and texting instead of the cellular network. Therefore, instead of requiring hardwired phone lines, audio (meaning your voice when you are speaking to someone on your phone) is digitally converted into data and sent over the internet to your person receiving your call.

So, you'll also have to make sure you're using the FreedomPop application since it is required for your service to work. The FreedomPop app is the connection between our service and your device, it makes service work, calls and texts are through the app. Check out this other support link for more information.

Should you need additional assistance, we've created a private message and we will continue assisting you through it regarding this matter as we will need to gather and provide personal account information.
