My phone runs slowly on FreedomPop. Please advise how to resolve this problem.
Posted about this issue a few weeks ago, but didn't follow up. Decided to try some troubleshooting steps first.
My 1-year prepaid FreedomPop plan expired a few months ago. I acquired another identical plan, and installed the new SIM card included in the package. After getting the phone working with the new SIM and plan I noticed the phone was running a bit slow:
Messaging App - opens/launches significantly slower than before.
Tap on a contact to send a message - chat/text page opens significantly slower than before.
Make a phone call - dialling begins more slowly than before.
Uninstall FreedomPop app.
Install latest FreedomPop app.
Install new battery for phone and make sure it's fully charged.
Delete several unused apps from the phone.
Restart the phone (several times).
Shutdown fully, wait 5 minutes, then power On.
None of these steps helped. The phone still responds slowly.
