Transferring a phone number between FreedomPop accounts

Good morning,
I am planning to buy a prepaid card and transfer an existing FreedomPop number into the new account. Reading other posts I understand that this can be easily done for free. I would like to have a confirmation that it is possible and also be instructed how to do it, since from the account page I could not find a way to do it for free.

Apologies for our delay. Yes, it is possible to easily transfer a phone number between two FreedomPop accounts. Please note that the phone number has to be active on your existing account.
It'll be also necessary to activate your new SIM card and assign a temporary phone number to this account. You'd need to contact us in order to transfer your phone number.

If it is another FP number, I left a twitter message on their Freedompop support account and they answered in a couple hours and transferred my number. Just make sure you give them all your identifying info. If you’re porting a number from another carrier, you can do that on the FP website. It costs $10.
