Service in Denmark with a Universal iPhone
AnsweredWhen in Denmark, my free 200 SIM had no service at all; basically a dead iPhone. I just bought a new iPhone which is neither locked nor unlocked; it is "universal". Best Buy says that if I transfer my current free 200 SIM over to it, I then it becomes locked to FreedomPop, which is OK for the US. When in Denmark, can I replace my FreedomPop SIM which I will put into my new iPhone, with my European Lyka SIM without any problems?

Hello Jim Landowski!
Thank you for contacting FreedomPop!
We apologize for our delayed reply, we’ll be glad to take a look into your inquiry.
Please be advised, our SIM cards are compatible with GSM unlocked devices running on Android 4.3 or + / iOS 8.2 or higher. Check out this support article for more information.
Note, that using a FreedomPop SIM card does not lock the device. If your device is GSM unlocked it'll work with any other compatible SIM card.
If you have any more questions or concerns please feel free to give us a shout.
