    We apologize for the inconvenience you've been experiencing with your text messages, and for the delayed response.

    Be advised, our SIM cards are compatible with GSM unlocked devices running on Android 4.3 or + / iOS 8.2 or higher. Check out this support article for more information.

    We've verified the account associated with your profile. We've refreshed your account to ensure all systems are properly synchronized and that everything's working correctly. We would also recommend you to try the steps detailed below:

    1) Perform a soft reset by simply powering off and on your device. 

    2) Configure the APN settings by following these steps.

    3) Clear and restart the Messaging app by following these steps.

    4) Sync Account Data by following these other steps. 

    5) Make sure your device's Operating System is updated to the latest version.

    If none of the steps above seem to help with the problem you've been facing, please let us know. :)

    Thank you, FreedomPop, for providing a response. However, I had already tried all of these steps you suggested, some of them multiple times, before creating this thread.

    What I need you to understand is that I have been using this service for two years, all of it has been working, and all of it is STILL working ... with the EXCEPTion of RECEIVING Texts. -- I can successfully send and receive calls, and I can successfully Send texts, but I no longer Receive texts, as of a week ago. On Nov. 22, everything was working fine; on Nov. 23, everything was working except for receiving texts. Weird.

    Same with my Iphone 8plus on Nov 22.

    I redownloaded app, refreshed, I wiped every other messaging app. Nothing fixes the fact that the only item that doesn't function is MESSAGES INCOMING. with or without internet.

    Still Not Receiving Texts.  Perhaps I should let you (at FP) know that I have continued to receive texts from the following sources:

     --  another FP user,

     --  a six-digit number (727272 from Redbox, to be precise)

     --  and the automatic message that FP sends when somebody leaves a voicemail for me.

    But I'm Not receiving texts from numbers that I used to receive from all the time (such as my wife's number, who's NOT an FP user).

    I'm Not receiving texts from other friends either.

    I'm an online teacher, and I'm Not receiving texts from my students who have questions about their math.

     

    I went through the 5 steps that FP posted above (in order in which they were posted), but the problem still remains as it ever did (since November 23rd).
