Just purchased this sim card and today it says Activation Step Required in the Freedompop App. I have already activated the device and selected a number on the freedompop website. The phone gets 4G LTE data when wifi is turned off indicating the sim is active and on the network. The issue is with the freedompop messaging app and when it says call this 1800 number for assistance they want to charge me $30 for the year. You would think with the initial activation they would give you a free call to get services established. I submitted an IT ticket hours ago and lets see how many days that takes for them to come back.
