Porting Out Issue for Mint Mobile
CompletedI am having issues with porting my number to Mint Mobile from FreedomPop. As this is a community post I am hoping FreedomPop will not give the standard response that a ticket is being created and handled via a private message or opening a ticket and then close this post.
I am trying to find out if other people have had issues porting their number and whether their issue has been resolved...and if so, what was done to resolve.
The technician I have been working with had escalated my ticket 3 days ago, but no relevant info has been provided back in regards to why the port is failing on the FreedomPop side so I can let them know what they need to adjust on the porting request. The message I am getting right states, ""Port Status - Customer information does not match".
One of the other things I noticed and have included in my ticket is whether the number being entered is the issue. What I mean by this is that FreedomPop includes the 1 in front of the US number (1xxxxxxxxxx) making it an 11-digit phone number where-in Mint Mobile's online porting tool only allows the standard 10-digit number. I am not sure if that is part of the issue or not but something I have asked FreedomPop and awaiting a reply back on.
Any info people may be able to provide which may be helpful for other users in the future would be appreciated.
