I've been trying and failing for almost two months to port my number from FreedomPop to Mint Mobile. I went to https://my.freedompop.com/settings/port-out-info to get my port out information, but when I provide my account number, passcode (which I'm assuming is the "Pin"), and ZIP Code to Mint Mobile their portal has said four times now that there are issues with the information I provided. As a result, I'm unable to activate my new SIM card with Mint Mobile. They said to contact FreedomPop about this.
I emailed a FreedomPop representative about this issue and the response was that FreedomPop has not received a port out request so please ensure that the information I provide matches the info from https://my.freedompop.com/settings/port-out-info, and to also ensure that I tell Mint Mobile that the number is a landline number. I did this and the transfer failed once more.
After speaking again with a Mint Mobile representative again last night, they said that FreedomPop does things differently than other providers by asking for more information that involves an address? Judging from a quick search on the forum, it seems that there have also been several people who have made similar posts and are struggling with the Port-Out to Mint Mobile. I'm not sure what's going on, but this process of going back and forth between FreedomPop and Mint Mobile has been very frustrating. Can someone please help with this?
