Just a post to try & help other new users who encounter this problem.
I encountered an Activation Loop every time I open the Freedom Pop Messaging app.
Same problem as in this post:
"I have picked a number and done everything but I can't get to any of the messages or calls and every time I open the app it says that I need to activate my sim but when I click activate it says that it's already activated and only gives me the option to return to the home menu which just restarts the same process."
To get past the activation loop, I had to enter some credit card info into the billing information.
Then the next time I opened the Freedom Pop Messaging app, it no longer asked me to activate my SIM (which was already activated).
And I was able to see my Account plan info & see the "Account Sync" button in the Messaging app.
