I had an account years ago which was closed soon after opening it due to some issue on FreedomPop's side. Which they never could explain to me in a rational manner.
A few days ago I picked up a SIM for the free program from Best Buy. I am using an unlocked Samsung Galaxy Orbit J3. When I follow the short set of instructions on the card package nothing works. When I go to freedompop.com/activate via phone or PC, I go through all the motions (at first it was trying to use my old credit card stored from years agao - which I believe I have got that resolved now).
So I enter in all my billing information with a new credit card and it says it is activating but just keeps taking me back to the page to enter my billing information again and again, it will do this ALL DAY if I waste enough time trying. Once in a while I just get a green/yellow spinner that acts like it is doing something special, but it will spin for at LEAST 30 minutes if I let it.
I'm at my whits end. This should be a simple proccess. I have tried registering with different (legit emails) and get the same results.
At this time I really need cheap cell service and thought I'd give FreedomPop another shot - this is crazy. I'm trying to help my kid with e-learning and keeping them from being bored the rest of the day, I can't devote my hours to playing these games. I'd rather go whittle on a stick at this point and white wash fences.
Any ideas or help would be super appreciated!
