I have a Samsung galaxy S3 that was a backup phone for a long time that Sat in a drawer. I finally pulled it out of the drawer to test it and discovered the SIM card had gone inactive. I got the card activated but I cannot get the phone to work. I have reset the phone to factory specs twice, reinstalled the messaging app three times, and reset the APN three times.
I can't make or receive calls because of dialog box pops up that says "unfortunately, messaging has stopped"
Please advise how to fix this problem.
The only thing I can think of and I may be wrong is that freedom pop no longer supports Samsung S3's.
