This problem has been going on for weeks (!) :/
Incoming calls do not ring my phone. I have no idea someone is trying to reach me, until AFTER they have already hung up. I will receive a voice mail message Notification (sound chirp, plus red dot on the voicemessaging screen icon. Pressing to go to VisualVoicemail, I can see the name of incoming caller, the date time stamp, and "Transcription not available." Compounding this problem is the fact that there IS NO voice message heard after pressing Play! I have tested this many times myself, calling from my desk landline to my FreedomPop mobile. With no ring audible I'm taken straight to my Voicemail Greeting. I've left myself both short and long silly test messages - either case is the same, nothing happens until I hang up. After a second or two, a FreedomPop Missed Call/Voicemail Notification sounds, and the visual shows I've missed a call from myself. And I, of course, am certain in my test cases that a Voicemail message was left, yet there is NO sounds after pressing "Play."
I have an iPhone 6s plus, with iOS updated. I have stepped thru the FreedomPop Troubleshooting steps (including but not limited to checking all Notification Settings, reset carrier w/#UPDATE*## (got error message), resync FreedomPop with the upper right open circle w/arrow, powering my phone down, and finally, deleting the FreedomPop app and reloading it, with another power down/up of my iPhone for good measure. BTW yes, i have confirmed that VisualVoice service is Active on my phone, and yes i have been paying for it.
I CAN tell you that, on the FreedomPop main screen on my phone, under Call Settings -- i see sections for 1) OUTGOING CALL (Make Call via - Premium Voice (?), and 2) BLOCKING CALLS & SMS. BUT - there is no section for INCOMING Calls for me to explore. Neither before nor after deleting/reloading the "FreedomPop: Calling & Texting" App version 7.5.
Help Please?! Thank you!
