Swtching devices from an iphone 7 to an i phone 11
CompletedMy iphone 7 died a couple of weeks ago and I am looking into buying an iphone 11. On the apple website, when talking about the iphone 11 SIM card, it says
- Dual SIM (nano-SIM and eSIM)12
- iPhone 11 is not compatible with existing micro-SIM cards.
My question is, will the Freedom Pop SIM card that I have for my dead iphone 7 work in an iphone 11? If not, what can I do to continue using Freedom Pop (with my existing phone number?)
Thank you for your help.

Hello Pamela Powles!
Thank you for contacting FreedomPop! Our apologies for the delayed response.
We'll be glad to assist you with your current concern. Our standard LTE SIM cards are compatible with GSM unlocked devices running on Android 4.3 and up / iOS 8.2 and up. As long as your new iPhone 11 meets these requirements, you should be able to use it with one of our SIM cards. Please note we currently don't support the eSIM.
FreedomPop Standard LTE SIM cards arrive with three different sizes -- the nano-SIM card (smallest), the micro SIM card (middle size), and the mini-SIM card (the largest SIM card size).
An Apple iPhone 7 uses a Nano-sized SIM Card. Therefore, if you have been using your FreedomPop SIM card in your iPhone 7, you must have the Nano-sized SIM, which is the size required for the iPhone 11 as well.
As long as your new iPhone 11 meets the compatibility requirements outlined above, you should be able to use your existing FreedomPop SIM card with it.
Keep in mind that after installing your SIM card in another compatible smartphone, you will need to configure the APN settings and download the required calling and texting application.
Please don't hesitate to contact us back should you have additional questions or concerns; we'll be happy to help! :)
