I bought "FreedomPop Less than $5/month, 12-Month Prepaid Plan - 3-in-1 LTE SIM Kit - Unlimited Talk, Text, & 1GB Data" from Amazon.
So after paying $43.69 for this to Amazon (Amazon has promotion on this), I expect to have the 1GB/mon service for the next 12 month without paying more.
But 2 days ago after the freedompop agent guided me to activate it on the phone, it charged me another $22.45+$1.08. Also it will charge me another $23.15 in Oct for the 2nd month.
I am very unsatisfied with the service that agent provided. I kept asking him about my concern of possible overbilling if I just clicked the buttons according to his instructions. He kept saying it will be fine in the end to have my 12-month prepaid service without paying more. But in the end, my concerns became true and he said he could not solve the issue. He said he could connect me to a technical support agent. But the system immediately terminated the phone call. Then I called again. The same agent said I could submit a request. So I submitted a request 2 days ago. Ticket number: #49270.
Two days have passed. The ticket is still "open". No one is assigned to solve this issue. I called FreedomPop yesterday. And the assistant told me that I had to wait till their management review my case.
Can FreedomPop provide updates to me? I provided all the details in the ticket (#49270).
