Can't activate 12-month prepaid sim card
CompletedHi, my account was on pre-paid, and about 1 year ago, I could activate my prepaid sim without submitting any credit card information. Now I just bought a new prepaid sim for 1-year 1GB/month from Amazon.com
https://www.amazon.com/FreedomPop-Less-month-12-Month-Prepaid/dp/B0792D3LLZ
, but when I tried to activate at the FreedomPop activation page, there are only 3 choices:
1. 2GB/month, for $25/month.
2. 4GB/month, for $35/month
3. 200MB/month, free
Based on the information from your Knowedge Base,
https://support.freedompop.com/hc/en-us/articles/360025855534-Pre-paid-LTE-SIM-Cards
When SIMs are purchased in stores (or not from FreedomPop directly),
"You will not be asked for any credit card information to complete your activation, because you have already paid for your plan in the store."
I already paid for my plan at Amazon. Why am I asked for credit card info, when I don't want to provide it? My last pre-paid Sim from FreedomPop, asscociated with my account was activated without credit card. Did I get a wrong type of SIM card from Amazon? The ICCID for my SIM card is XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX0928.
If possible, can you activate this SIM card using my current account email, and remove the previous prepaid 1-year SIM which has expired?
I hate to make a product complaint to Amazon.com, leaving bad reviews. But I cannot understand why I have prepaid for 1-year, and then is asked to pay more every month. If that is the case, the package should say that it's "partially pre-paid, plus more monthly fees afterwards", instead of "pre-paid".
Thanks.
