Cannot open Freedompop App

My Freedompop phone app does not open. Instead I get this:
( Sorry unfortunately messaging has stopped.)
Please tell me the solution so I can use my phone again.
The phone is a Huawei Vision 3 LTE. I used this phone when I first signed on to
Freedompop, but now the newly installed app will not open.
