For my phone number ending in 6799, when I open the messaging app, I was previously greeted by a check mark confirming my phone number, which allowed me to make calls, etc. However, since I received the e-mail about upgrading to the new free plan and SIM card, I've been unable to sync my account or make any phone calls.
I think it may be related to the fact that when I was attempting to upgrade, only my previous phone number was found (ending in 6321), which I ported out to another carrier. I was able to request a new SIM under that number, even though it should no longer be associated with this account. And now, even though my account shows the correct number, I can't sync it to my device. I'd like to have the correct number when my new SIM arrives so that I don't have any issues. Can someone please assist?
